I added a reverb to return and send. I found it in audio effects, reverb.
I turned the “A” dial in the mixer section of return and send so that it would allow me to add reverb to a variety of sounds rather than put it on just the one sound.

I added the reverb to my brass to give it bit of an echo effect.

To record in my midi clips i double clicked on my brass ensemble clip and it comes up with a midi note editor at the bottom of the ableton screen.

I then clicked on the arm session recording which is in the mixer section of the brass ensemble clip.

I thought of a melody before i played it in then once i had it in my head i pressed record and played it in.

I went into live devices browser and looked for a brass sound which was found in instruments, instrument rack, brass.

I previewed the sounds till i was happy with 1 i liked, the sound was a kind of creepy hollow and it had its own atmosphere which gave me a head rush of patterns 2 make. I double clicked on it so that it went onto the clip/device drop area.

I then changed the attack in macro control so it would fade in at the beggining. The other dails i left the same.

I started with a “brass ensemble” that is in live devices, “instuments, instrument rack then Brass”.

I played in a basic over beat for a melody. I then added some “stereo bells” for a second over melody and these were found in “instument rack, mallets”.
